HOLIDAY BUS DRIVE

In the spirit of the season, Zeus Jones and Puny are teaming up to give the students at Richard R Green Central Park School an opportunity they currently don't have – the chance to explore the world beyond their school and community. The school is in a very impoverished neighborhood. Money for things like extracurriculars and field trips just isn't possible. Please watch the video to find out more about the school and the impact field trips can have on learning. We hope you'll decide to join us in expanding the world of Green Central's students.
found the ad on Visualize. i can always count on Visualize Tumblr when it comes to clean vector infographic such as this.

stripping papers for posters

"Hang and comb". just like that. these posters were made by Bendita Gloria to announce a student promotion for 5º 1ª hairdressing saloon located in a penthouse in Barcelona. those strips of paper were cut using a paper striper machine (wow.. paper paper also can strip you know..) and were paste on top of the posters to resemble various human hair. i Ffffound the image.

uuu~ a post!

alamak.. kantoi tengah chat ngan Kamil :p~

woah.. my blog looks dusty, huh? it's been a while since i've posted something here. my PC at home had no internet connection and my Cami is living in my office right now. so, i couldn't post anything when i'm free on weekends.

when my internship is done, i'm gna update my blog and portfolio with all of the things i've done while i'm here. working here is so much fun! it's tiring and i've got headaches everyday after i got home but, i don't care! as long as i'm happy with the work i've done and the clients are not moaning for me to repair them, my life is good :)

did i mentioned i went to Seven Collar T-Shirt concert at KLPAC last Saturday?? oh what the heck.. i'm gna tell you again :D it was the most amazing concert experience i've had so far.. the environment was inspirational! it was comfy coz we got to sit on these colourful cushion sofa and we were like 7 rows from the front! the band performed like i've never seen any other bands in Malaysia performed. ala, i don't really attend lots of concert so that's why i say it was the best.

my whole Saturday was amazing coz i get to go to the KLDW conference talk by Digital Malaya Project and see all of these talented famous people in our creative industry picturing some slice of their creative work and process to us. i get to be inspired by their speech and the awesomeness of KLPAC architecture and landscape.. everyday i got to hear inspirational stories from the guys here at Motiofixo. they told me things that i've never even knew exist and they told me about their experiences. i like it when they tell me stories coz it gives me the courage to go on. fuh.. i'm lovin' my internship, man..

these are some pictures that we took last week :D nak tengok, sile click more :)

three pops in a bar

Zoku Quick Pop Maker

this is soo cool! i can create new types of ice pop with this!

quoted from Cool Hunting:
Fun to use and loved by kids, you can keep it simple or (with patience) you can make pretty pops by pouring in one liquid, letting it sit for a few minutes and then adding another layer or two of a different juice. Tipping the machine leads to wavy lines, and experiments with fruits and yogurts, or even more adventurous fixings like carrots and beets, present limitless options for creativity.

cute and clever

PING from Jason Oshman on Vimeo.

this stop motion video is funny, cute, a bit violent, beautiful and cool at the same time! i like how they use 2D image as the flashback moments. funny je when that white robot spills his oil to prank the cell guard. some of the transition effects was good and quite unexpected since it's a stop motion video. the ending was beautiful...

Batman Logo Revolution

Music: U2 - Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me

Save Electreecity Final Website

i've been holding this post for so long. i've put it on my portfolio, but haven't post it here. i've made lots of improvements last sem but that does not include my time management. i broke down a couple of times coz of this assignment. nevertheless, i'm glad i have a great group mate like Ecah to get me through the rough times. i was crying, but she didn't. she was strong and i was... bleuurghh... whatever.. i still can't believe we manage to do this thing. the first time i saw what the seniors had done for this assignment, i was like "whoa... we're gna do that too? are we gna be able to be as good as them? oh, no.. the lecturers said we're supposed to be BETTER! macamane niiiiii..." in the end, WE DID IT!! submitting this work is the best feeling i've ever had compared to the time when i've submitted other works.

uuh.. can't think of other name for this..

only because the guy from Geekologie had created "Drumbella" name for this Rain Drum Umbrella.. man, that name's good!

wait a minute, wouldn't it be annoying if you're walking along a crowded street in a heavy rain with this Drumbella clinking and clonking? you'd be like a walking trishaw (if that's the English name for beca).

quoted from Geekologie:
The Rain Drum (why didn't you call it the Drumbrella?!) is a conceptual umbrella designed by Dong Min Park to provide a little musical accompaniment to a walk through the rain. You see (or hear!), each section of the umbrella is supposed to make a different drum sound (snare, bass, tom-tom, crash cymbal and high-hat cymbal) when hit by droplets.

just a gist

i like it how a complicated and time-consuming movies get summarized into a simple movie poster. kalau tgk most of Malay movies sume kene ade the whooooole characters who acted inside the movie knelaaa ade skali dlm poster.. kalau x, rase cam dipinggirkan plak kn.. what actually matters is to give just a tiny bit of clue, mystery and excitement when they see the poster. just give them something to ponder upon and wait for so that their urge to watch the movie is building up bit by bit. ini tak, poster ngan ayat n visual macam sparuh masak gaul kat photoshop bg orang tengok..

anyways.. i love these simplified Tim Burton movie posters i found on Fubiz! the colours really suit Burton's dark but humorous movies. there are a lot more of this series on Fubiz. ok ok.. lepas ni bace notes.. esok exam Sound Design..
